CAST OF THOUSANDS TRANSFORMED LONDON STREETS FOR THE ‘BIG WORLD DANCE’ The T-Mobile Big Dance 2010 built to a climax today with the Big World Dance, a grand finale that saw thousands of people transform the streets of London into a giant open air stage. Thousands of people gathered together to perform the show stopping routine, commissioned by the Southbank Centre and directed by Luca Silvestrini, Artistic Director of Protein Dance.

Dance Champion Miguel Doforo helps to launch free dance directory in bid to improve North West region’s health
Dance Champion Miguel Doforo, whose Merseyside-based dance troupe MD Showgroup were semi finalists in ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent, is helping to launch a free dance directory in a bid to improve the region’s health. And he’s offering a free dance master class to the winners of a competition featured on the website www.dancechampions.org until the end of August.

Thursday October 15th: Dance Champions is Launched!!!
Today at 1pm the Dance Champions Group was launched. The event, which was held at the Royal Festival Hall in London, saw the Dance Champions come together to announce the start of their journey to champion dance in all its forms and to lend support to a range of existing initiatives that promote participation in dance.
